Garrett is a member of VHCB AmeriCorp, currently serving his term here in Windham County. He recieved his BS in Ecology from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2018 before starting as a watershed steward and supervisor with the Adirondack Watershed Institute. There he performed educational outreach, covering aquatic invasive species, decontaminated watercraft, and promoted the Clean, Drain, Dry standards. Continuing his education, Garrett obtained a MS from Paul Smith's College in Natural Resource Conservation where he found his passion focusing on sustainable communities and green infrastructure.
